Listed under Art Collections in Venice, Italy.

The Accademia was founded in 1750 as the school for painting, sculpture and architecture for Venice and is first point of call for art-lovers in this city. The collection is devoted to Venetian artists up to the 18th century; masterpieces by Titian, Tintoretto and Veronese hang alongside works by lesser-known artists.
