As you're traveling down the Grand Canal in Venice via gondola, perhaps you will notice a shinning building known as Ca D'Oro. It is almost impossible to miss with all the gilt and polychrome decorations which adorn the “gold house.” Built between 1428 and 1430, it is regarded as one of the most beautiful palazzos on the canal while its architecture epitomizes the Gothic style of Venice. It is open to the public as a free gallery now- I bet the inside is just as beautiful as the outside!
