Bologna's Archaeological Museum encompasses Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Etruscan artefacts and relics. The Egyptian collection is among Italy's best, with a large collection of mummies and sarcophagi. Treasures include a sculpture of a torso said to be Nero's and the marble head of Athena Lemnia, attributed to the sculptor Phidias.
