The impressive green tiled fountain is called Shrob ou shouf, and was built in the 16th Century. The thing to admire first is the tiles, then the piece on top of the fountain like a crown and made of a honeycomb of wood. The inscription “Shrob ou Shouf” means drink and look, which is a good thing to do as you pass it on the way to the Ben Youssef Madrassa.
