A recent addition to the Dallas art scene, Nasher Sculpture Center is a unique institution dedicated to the exhibition, study and preservation of modern sculpture. Opened in 2003, Nasher Sculpture Center has a permanent collection of more than 300 sculptures as well as modern paintings and drawings. Perhaps most well recognized is the Raymond and Patsy Nasher Collection which features works by renowned artists such as Rodin, Brancusi, Matisse, Picasso, Giacometti, David Smith, and Richard Serra. The center hosts a calendar of both public programs and scholarly and educational initiatives.

The indoor-outdoor exhibition space is seen as an urban retreat for appreciators of art. It contains a gift shop, auditorium and café which overlooks the garden and fountains. The space is in the heart of the Dallas Arts District making it an easy stop for anyone visiting the city.

Not even worth the 5 dollar admission charge. Some of the junk in the "sculpture" ought to just be recycled.
