London Bridge is not falling down. It is, in fact, spanning a lake in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The original bridge was sold in the 1960s to an American and brought to the States, while a new London Bridge was built as a replacement across the Thames.

The sheer absurdity of such a famed international landmark standing in the middle of the American Southwest, home of John Wayne, cattle drives, and tumbleweeds, is not easily lost on many visitors. In fact, it is that very ludicrousness that draws many visitors to it, cameras in hand.
