The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, also known as “The Modern,” is a multimedia collection of post-World War II art. The 2,600 piece collection spread throughout 53,000 square feet makes The Modern one of the country’s premier modern art museums. Some of the museum’s most prized works are by the likes of Pablo Picasso, Anselm Kiefer, Robert Motherwell, Susan Rothenberg, Jackson Pollock, Gerhard Richter, Andy Warhol and more.

The building’s five long pavilions framed by a reflecting pond are popular with visitors. Tadao Ando is the architect behind the current home of The Modern. Guests from the region and beyond benefit from the building’s central location in the Fort Worth Cultural District.
