Listed under Markets in Denpasar, Indonesia.
These markets are one of 'the things to do' on Bali. Lots of people come here to shop and sit on the beach, and this market has quickly become one of the largest and busiest. But as well as the tourist tat a lot of people come here to accumulate, Pasar Badung is also a good place to pick up traditional Balinese handicrafts – like batik, puppets and ceremonial offerings, and because it's still used by local people it doesn't feel overrun by westerners. The set up is like a four storey car park, with different goods in different floors: fish on the first floor, clothes on the third and food stalls and vegetables around the outside.
Apparently the market is open 24 hours seven days a week.
