With upwards of 3,000 stalls, Marché aux Puces is both Paris's busiest and most popular flea market. Like most European markets, you can find almost anything in the world- you just have to be prepared to look for it and stay patient. Most vendors will be willing to make a deal with you, but they prefer it when you speak to them in French or at least show you have some knowledge about what you'd like to purchase. The longer you chat with them, the more likely they are to lower the price. The market is open Saturday to Monday and you will probably find the best deals on Mondays because it is less crowded and dealers are more likely to sell on the last day of their week.
