Jasper's Malign Lake is mis-named; it really should be called Sublime Lake. Boat trips are available to the upper reaches of this glacier-fed lake surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. Hikers should be on the alert for grizzlies. Nearby is the amazing Malign Canyon, an impressive slot canyon with many waterfalls, and the mysterious Medicine Lake - the level of which fluctuates due to periodic natural drainage via vast cave systems.
