This largely hidden river, located an hour to the east of the city of Antalya, rises in The Taurus Mountains and is an untouched whitewater paradise, with super-clear, drinkable quality water, running through a really remote area of limestone gorges. The river offers two sections to run: Üzümlü to İbradi Bridge, and İbradi bridge to Sinanhoca. The first section starts very near the source and is low volume and technical, requiring lots of manoevirng to negotiate the many boulders and siphons. The second section has a similar character but more water than the first section. It also has a huge siphon where the whole river is swallowed underground and then reappears in a lake. Halfway down this section the volumme of the water increases suddenly fourfold due to springs from riverside caves (Altinbesik Caves).

This river is an excellent training playground for experienced paddlers. They never get bored - this magic valley is full of surprises.
