The Seychelles offer the traditional tropical island type of holiday experience, white sandy beaches, the soft lapping of waves on clear water and tropical forests and palm trees. Praslin is typical of this experience and made famous as the home of the unusual, suggestively shaped Coco de Mer or double coconut and the Vallee de Mai, a jungle valley home to rare birds and endemic plants and animals. Praslin’s warm waters support many types of corals, sea urchins and around 800 different fish species.
Praslin is fairly quiet and undeveloped with a very small local population - perfect for people wanting a peaceful luxury get away or those who enjoy snorkelling, swimming and sun bathing without too much interruption.
