Mykonos is one of Greece's top tourist destinations, renowned for some of the best nightlife in Europe. Seen as a young person's destination, its beach bars and clubs host great parties. However, the island is steeped in history, which passes most people by. If anyone can get up enough energy - and early enough - for culture, there's the Aegean Maritime Museum which houses different ancient nautical pieces that relate to the island's history.

Mykonos is a classic destination for party people.
