Delikli Island is largely conservation area and long golden sandy beach. The sea turtles love it, as do blue crabs, but there are attractions for history buffs as well as nature buffs, in the form of the ancient harbour city of Caunos, which has huge and intricate tombs carved into the rocky cliffs that surround it.

Many other small islands and islets dot the waters around Delikli, making it a popular spot for sailors.
