It might be geeky to appreciate a viaduct. But if any are worth appreciating then this one is worth it. Firstly it's in a gorgeous location in Scotland's West Highlands overlooking Loch Shiel. Secondly it was one of the largest engineering undertakings using just concrete, no reinforcement, when it was built in 1901. Thirdly the viaduct is a film star, gracing screens in such films as Charlotte Grey and the Harry Potter franchise, when it's crossed by the Hogwarts Express.

Scotland is so proud of it they put it on the Scottish £10 note.
