Arranged around an attractive paved inner courtyard, Riad Honey provides a tranquil refuge from the heat and dust of the medina. It has eight air-conditioned double bedrooms, decorated unpretentiously but with panache. With their Oriental rugs, wrought-iron and wooden furniture, low brass-topped tables and natural cotton fabrics, the style is authentically Moroccan. After dark, a host of lanterns light the atmospheric roof terrace, bringing a glow to the ochre walls.

Wonderful Holiday

Our family of 4 stayed in Riad Honey for 5 nights - we had the most wonderful Christmas there and are longing to go back. The service was better anything you could ask for in the finest 5-star hotel - simply because they truly truly try to make you feel at home and they treat you as part of the family. All the guests (we came from all over - Italy, Singapore, Austria, the USA, England) felt like a happy family and shared their experiences/bargaining tips on the star-lit courtyard, a little relaxing oasis of calm within the bustling Medina. The staff were just so friendly!

The home-cooked food was delicious and they sourced Moroccan delicacies that we requested at the drop of a hat. Lahcen's tour of a Berber village in the Atlas mountains was a great experience and they really try to take very good care of you. Imelda's cooking was fantastic and the breakfasts were superb, especially the yoghurt! Thank you, Riad Honey.
