One Devonshire Gardens opened in 1986 in the first of five splendid Victorian townhouses built for shipping merchants. Now it has been taken over by Hotel du Vin, our favourite UK hotel chain, and engulfs all five houses. Handsome and stylish, it has fine original staircases and stained glass. Though more luxurious and with more serious food than its sister hotels, the Hotel du Vin trademarks, including blissful beds, deep baths, huge showers and friendly service, remain firmly in place.

Set in a tree-lined Victorian terrace in the fashionable West End of Glasgow, One Devonshire Gardens is a luxury boutique hotel, a Hotel du Vin with a little bit more. The 49 stunning bedrooms and suites, and our reputation for service and style have, we hope been enhanced by a new bar and bistro, and the makeover of many of our bedrooms, without losing any of the charm and character for which One Devonshire Gardens is well known.
