It's difficult to beat the location of the Hotel de Mendoza. Most of the city attractions are within easy walking distance of the hotel - the Delgado theater can be seen from the lobby, just across Avenida Hidalgo, and the Cathedral is just two short blocks away. Walk one block from the hotel and you are on the main tourist route that runs from the Cathedral through the Plaza de la Liberacion and Plaza Tapatia all the way to the Instituto Cultural de Cabanas. Much of this route is pedestrianized and makes for a very pleasant city stroll.

The Hotel de Mendoza is ideal for tourists and business people who prefer a traditional, charming hotel in the city. The guest rooms are comfortable and spacious, and many have attractive views of the pool or the adjacent church Santa Maria de Gracia. The hotel's swimming pool is a welcome feature after a morning's sightseeing; even in the cooler months it's a pleasant place to sit in the sunshine. And best of all, the staff is friendly and helpful, making the Hotel de Mendoza a perfect choice for a short or long stay in Guadalajara.
