The Casa de Sierra Nevada is one of only a handful of hotels to capture the essence of colonial Mexico in truly luxurious surroundings. The arrangement of accommodations in several exquisitely restored mansions promotes a tranquil and private ambience and this is supported by the policy of admitting only adults over 16. A stay in vibrant San Miguel de Allende is enhanced by the facilities of the Casa. Guest rooms boast wood burning fires or sunny terraces and room service is maintained with impeccable standards across the quaint cobbled streets connecting the houses. For a break from the rigors of sightseeing spend an afternoon by the magnificent heated swimming pool, delightfully set in a gardened courtyard. Connoisseurs will love the gourmet restaurant, one of the most highly regarded in the country, and one of our favorites for its sumptuous decor and refined elegance. But most of all we love the indulgence of the guest quarters, from the deluxe rooms to the finest suites. These are some of the most beautifully furnished rooms we've found in a hotel and we particularly liked the luxurious fabrics used for bed linen and curtains.

The accommodations are also enhanced by the pretty courtyards of each house, offering terraced seating and gardens. In our opinion, the suites with private terraces are particularly desirable, but each room at Casa de Sierra Nevada has its own unique flavor and will remain in your memory long after your stay.
