Rainforest Expeditions (est. 1989) operates three award winning Amazon lodges: Posada Amazonas (30 rooms), Refugio Amazonas (24 rooms), and Tambopata Research Center (18 rooms).

In 2006, Rainforest Expeditions expanded to the Andes with Konchukos Tambo, an excellent base for the renowned treks of Huascaran National Park and the Cordillera Blanca.
