They may have meant to name this hostel Prague Plus, because that’s what it seems to be trying to offer – near on hotel facilities at hostel rates. It’s nice to be offered access to an indoor pool with a sauna and a beach volleyball court, and complimentary toiletries and buffet breakfast.

The hostels 540 bed size is part of the hotel vibe as well – you get your bed with sheets, and if you’re female you get a toiletry bag when you check in, full of the kinds of things you get free in hotels. It’s not quite like a hotel where you can charge things to your room, you have to top up a card before you do so it’s all pay in advance, but it does mean that you don’t have to carry your wallet around with you.

The hostel’s 24 hour bar and restaurant get more clubby after dark making this a party hostel rather than a family hostel.
