Listed under Hostels in New York City, United States.
Who needs acres of bedroom in New York – this is one town where there are definitely better things to do that sleep and sit in the bath – and this cheap chic hotel/ hostel hybrid is just right as a place to recharge between shopping, a walk in Central Park and taking in a Broadway show. If you’re erring toward the hostel rooms you can look forward to use of space that an Ikea storage solutions catalogue would be proud of, the rooms are smaller than compact but they have it where it counts – namely in the beds – big bunks.
This is one of the most expensive hostels in the world, but as well as the cool design and being affiliated with the boutique hotel under the same roof (though you don’t get free access to their sauna and spa mind) you get an indoor pool with a poolside cocktail bar serviced by DJs, a complimentary continental breakfast, use of the work and meeting space (you’ll obviously tell the people you meet on business you’re staying at the hotel) and a 24 hour kiosk which the hotel guests use to stock up their divinely empty mini bars and has everything you might need to buy in an emergency.
Oh, and it’s virtually on Times Square.
