The owners of this hostel live here so you can be sure of a good welcome and good local advice. Living in your own hostel would probably keep the standards up, including making you very aware of the necessity of basics like hot water, heating and air conditioning in each room.

Sleep alone or with friends or strangers, the Hostel Estoril has both private and dorm rooms with or without bathrooms and TVs. They also have a 24hour travel desk in their foyer, which can be a very useful service if you’re trying to book tickets to a tango show or day trip to the Museo Evita and you don’t speak the lingo.

You’re in urban surrounds but in Buenos Aires that means you can still enjoy an outdoor barbeque and relax under the stars and talk about your travels – which is the owners specialty.
