Golden Valencian sun pours in through the ten balconies of the Hilux, lighting up the work of local artists which decorates the walls of each double or twin room. Well the sun can’t be guaranteed, but the rest can be – the Hilux only has ten rooms, all decorated in their own way, some rather opulently, others in a more Eastern or Moorish style, and each room has its own balcony.

Because of the layout of rooms the average age of guests here is a larger number than in many hostels – but you do have to share a bathroom so it’s not hotel class. Of course you get the guest kitchen, library and common room, free internet and included breakfast to make up for it.
