The simple design and clean Ikea lines are supposed to look clean and welcoming, but it’s the garden in the centre of town that is probably what really makes so many people reviewing this hostel say it’s very home-y and comfortable. The staff are happy to let you plug your MP3 into the sound system, use their internet, or drink their coffee and beer – so it’s not really that much like home then.
The largest dorms at Eastseven fit eight people, but you can also opt for a quad, a triple, a double, single or family room – all with bathrooms. The small rooms could be why this hostel seems to attract clients of all ages, or it could again be the garden, or the quiet, or the central location, or the fact that they don’t do hen or stag parties or school groups…
