Backpacking for the iphone, macbook generation whose tastes run towards streamlined design perfection, this is one of the new breed of ‘designer hostel’ – hostel living but with all the mod cons and a hyper designed combination of exposed brickwork and smooth surfaces. A café/bar with seven local beers on tap and daily breakfasts of cheese and meat keep the Czech Inn local – they might want to consider a name change – and free internet and the look and feel give it that modern, international flavour.

In all the guide books for winning flashpacker awards, guests can stay in a dorm for between four and 12 or book up one of the two long stay apartments which will house you and your mates over two levels and a roof terrace.

Book Czech Inn.
