Bunk beds are fun when you’re a kid but if you’re hostelling for quite a while it’s nice to sleep with a bit of space between you and the ceiling above every now and then. As well as setting themselves the no bunk rule the owners have decorated each room in a different style, from a minimalist Japanese for two to an Indian for eight or the Space room for five where it’s like sleeping out under the stars.

There’s free breakfasts, internet access and linen and for a small fee the owners will even organise you a packed lunch or arrange to have your laundry washed and ironed – they may even do it themselves. And if you really like to hostel in style you can even request an in-hostel massage.

Book Aventura Hostel.
