Horse riding along the Zambezi Escarpment

Listed under Horse Riding in Livingstone, Zimbabwe.

This region is especially beautiful when seen at a peaceful gait from the back of a horse. Animals you may have come to see like impala, kudu, lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo and hippos and crocodiles are less frightened of your ambling approach and scent. The views over the valley are particularly scenic and the terrain varies from the lush jungles around the river to the teak forests on the escarpment. Both day tours and over night tours run in this region. Most outfitters have Arabian horses.
