Tikhvin Cemetery

Listed under History in St. Petersburg, Russia.

In the grounds of the Alexander Nevsky Monastery, Dostoevsky, Stravinsky and Tchaikovsky, among other Russian notables are buried here. A smaller cemetery to it’s side is the city’s oldest and has the grave of Peter the Great’s sister Natalya, buried in 1716. The memorials in both these cemeteries are beautiful and in some cases highly original.
