The town of Chivay, located near the head of the famous Colca Canyon, is known for its colorful indigenous culture. The perfect finale to a day of hiking and sightseeing in this area is to sit in Chivay's outdoor riverside hot spring pool under the stars - preferably sipping a cold beer.
