Listed under Golf in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Of course you can play golf in the desert of Dubai, playing at The Montgomerie is like playing at an oasis: 265 acres of land with 14 man made lakes, 81 bunkers, well the sand is no trouble, and acres of green grass and landscaped gardens. The fourth, ninth and thirteenth holes are the most talked about, the fairways are long and the greens generous, but if that sounds easy you're forgetting the wind and the sand and water on both sides.
