The Seminole Course at the Seminole Club was designed by noted golf course architect Donald Ross and completed and opened in 1929. It's got a Scottish links feel to it, added to by the oceanside setting, with few trees, but more water hazards than might be thought strictly necessary by those struggling with them. The land here is pretty flat, but the greens are teasingly elevated, large and reasonably fast.

The course length is 6,787 yards which you're supposed to get around in 72 shots. The favourite hole of the course is the 18th, a 417 yard par 4 right alongside the lapping ocean. It's won many awards for being 'The Best' or 'A Classic' golf course.
