Sand Hills calls itself modest in length and ideal for the novice golfer, especially with its comprehensive practice facility, but it's also a desirable destination for the more experienced set, what with the undulating topography that means some holes are played across two tiers, the longer back holes demanding precisely executed tee shots to avoid the clutches of one of the seven interconnected ponds and greens that are a lot harder to master than they look.

The whole course covers 7,089 yards and expects you to get them all in in 71.
