An Alister MacKenzie course which perfectly compliments it’s truly breathtaking surroundings on the alternating sandy and rocky coast of Sydney’s Botany Bay. Rolling up ridges after focusing on the green you’ll be rewarded by the ocean spread out and glittering - right behind your next flag. The La Perouse Course is along the same lines as renowned scenic greats Pebble Beach and Cypress Point - similar coastlines they’re set against. The course has been added to over the years by other architects, so there are a few un-MacKenzie moments clouded by ridges and unusual angles but this adds to the challenge and doesn’t distract from the flow of the whole. Anyone can play here and the club is typically laid back.
