Set between a four star hotel and the Mediterranean within the Albufera National Park, El Saler Golf Course sits proudly on one of Spain's most beautiful spots. There are 12 holes winding in and out of pine groves, which provide the much needed shade for golfers. The last six are located among coastal dunes. The Javier Arana design means most shots are threatened by well-placed bunkers, trees or dunes. The high running greens prove testing targets. The course is challenging and very long - mistakes made on particularly difficult holes make it nearly impossible to get back on track. El Saler is ranked as the 2nd best golf course in Europe by Golf World and has hosted a number of Spanish Opens.
