Bounded by the steep Niagra River Gorge and the famous falls on one side, this park has been a good place to admire the falls since it was 'arranged' here in the 19th Century.

As well as the view, the park also has a rock garden, a tea rose garden, a collection of Canada's native plants, an amphitheatre and, at the right time of year, impressive carpets of flower beds.  At a different right time of year you'll be greeted by 500,000 bobbing daffodils.

Although the Queen Victoria Park is 'literally the "heart" of Niagara Parks', that is not in the province of Manitoba in Canada. It is in the province of Ontario. I wouldn't want any travelers to find themselves hundreds of miles away from their destination!

Hi Jane - Thanks very much for letting us know. I've changed the text but if you have a chance could you see if we have the pin in the right place in the map. That's very much for your contribution!

Actually, the pin is still incorrect. If you follow your Niagara Parks link and use their map to zoom out, you should be able to get a better idea of where it is. I am looking forward to visiting both this garden in the future some day. Since it is in Canada, perhaps my chances are better! Thanks for the great website.

Thanks. Should be in the right place now.
