Frederiksborg Castle Gardens

The castle is compared to Versailles and the garden is also in the high baroque style. The castle is built on three islands on the lake and the garden surrounds the lake. Lime trees and box hedges create the garden’s order, creating structured lines going towards and out from the lake.
