In the heart of old Seville, this palace-garden complex grouped around a sequence of patio courtyards in the Andalucian style bristles with stylistic vigour, combining classical, Moorish, Gothic and Renaissance elements with complete facility. The exceptional richness of decorative detail, symbolism and planting combine to make this a thoroughly rewarding experience, from the Roman statues to the brimming Moorish pools and the great curtains of Bougainvillea framing the tiled fountains.
