More than six hundred plant species make up this green collection started by one woman but adopted by the rest of the country because of its popularity. Part of this must be due to the spot it commands over looking the ocean and the Bathesheba coastline. The climate means that exotics (by our cool climate standards.) like orchids, cacti and ferns thrive and locals like hibiscus, frangipani and bougainvillea run riot. A massive bearded fig is definitely worth mentioning. One long stream meanders its way through the six or so acres stopping to form waterfalls over rock and coral and ponds on its way and a lot of the way the path follows it.
