This spot is well set up for paragliding, to the extent that there is a chair lift to the main launch spot at about 1100 metres. The launch is a steep plateau so you will probably be launching forward. There is a ridge to fly along which has good updrafts coming off it which is good for beginners, but more experienced pilots will want to go off cross country. It’s a good spot for scenery and if you pay attention you can enjoy a good long distance flight up to Annecy. Conditions get more turbulent during the afternoons and if it’s too rough you can always go over to Annecy to start. Annecy has another good launch spot you can get to easily but it’s busier in the air. There’s a nice landing spot by a nearby lake.
