The Turneffe Atoll is the largest coral atoll in the western hemisphere and as such it has long offered fantastic saltwater fishing opportunities. Less well known is the fact that probably more permit are caught and released at this location than at any other we are aware of. Combined with good numbers of large migratory tarpon it offers one of the best opportunities to achieve a coveted Grand Slam: a bonefish, permit and tarpon all caught in one day.
