Fishing is not all about the size of the fish. The trout of rivers like the Barle and the Exe, which rise on Exmoor, and the East Dart, which runs across Dartmoor, are generally small. But they are wild, game, and are to be found in some of the loveliest, emptiest places in England. The time is go is May or June, and there are miles of water available by searching the web.

Trout Fishing

Trout fishing can be just as common as it is unique. Each species of Trout have their own likes and dislikes as well as their degree of participation in the local fauna.

You will find that many Trout will go for the local insect life and are willing to take them at their current stage of life that is representative of the current cycle.
