The Neuquén region is paradise for rainbow trout, brown trout, brook trout, Chinook and landlocked salmon, and various other species. You can travel to various rivers, like the Meliquina, Limay, Caleufu, and Chimehuin, or try your luck in nearby lakes. Although fly fishing is the most popular method in this region, spinning and trolling are also options, but should be used at the larger lakes.
