Travel merely two miles off the coastline of Castries and find one of the best fishing spots of St. Lucia. The under water drop off area is home to blue marlin, dorado, yellowfin tuna, sail fish, wahoo, and other big game fish. Some of the species are seasonal, but tuna, sail fish, and snapper are caught year-round, making Castries an ideal fishing location. If you want the largest fish, you have to travel far, and sink your line deep. When you get in from a long day on the boat, local cooks will offer to prepare your catch for dinner, so be prepared to eat what you reel in.
