Flocks of jazz fans revel in the sounds they love every July amongst the elegant churches, Medieval walls and Roman ruins of beautiful Perugia, with its wide streets and pale stone houses, a treasure trove of artistic history set near the banks of the Tiber. Stages are set up on the streets in the open air to make the most of the balmy summer nights, and tickets will place you amongst an audience treated to ten days filled with performances from new talents and jazz legends such as Sonny Rollins, Keith Jarrett and Herbie Hancock.
