Silkeborg - Fire Festival Regatta

Listed under Festivals in Midtjylland, Denmark.

The final night of this week long event has one of Europe’s largest fireworks displays. The lake the regatta is held on is lined with candles, an unusual juxtaposition of appreciating the lorious lakeside scenery and competition. The event also hosts a fun fair a variety of entertainment (predominantly Danish) and lake cruises to better take in the candles and display of light. Usually held in the first or second week of August.
