The biggest rock and pop festival in Europe next to Glastonbury, Roskilde annually boasts the presence of a range of enormously high-profile bands and attracts thousands to its greenfield camping venue for a week in early July, near the city of the same name. World food, beer, graffiti workshops, kayak polo and skateboarding fill any time between the overlapping, multi-stage performances and the delightfully surreal happenings that grace most festivals of this sort are crowned with the now traditional naked race.
