Translated the name of this August festival means ‘to taste-event’, and that’s pretty much the plan, an event allowing you to taste all the best things in life. Food and wine from the city’s restaurants, in both local and international styles and flavours are served in around 40 stalls set up in the town’s pretty market square. Live music and entertainment is added into the mix and there you have it, one of Europe’s great festivals of degustation.

You convert your euros into festival cash: preuvenelaps, before you go in which then gives you the freedom to graze within your budget. And at the end of the day it’s all going to charity.
