Run by a non-profit organization, Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Arts Council, the festival features family friendly performances and is heavily influenced by Celtic music and culture.

The 35th Annual Newfoundland and Labrador is taking place August 5-7 2011 at Bannerman Park, St. John’s. Canada’s second-oldest folk festival is spread out over 3 exciting days and is attended by thousands of loyal supporters and visitors. Whether you are looking to sing, dance, hear a Newfoundland traditional story or just sit back and enjoy the music, this event is not to be missed.
