Kuopio Dance and Musical Festival

The first dance festival in Kuopio was held in 1970. It has since become an annual event, held over a week in June or July and presenting more than 20 performances of a variety of dance styles from contemporary to latin and numerous workshops and courses to around 40,000 visitors.
